Hi, I’m Julia!

I’m a therapist with a private practice in Toronto, Canada, where I work with adult survivors of childhood trauma. Over time, I noticed that my private practice clients repeatedly share how much they struggle in their romantic relationships. Together, we navigate issues regarding attachment, abuse, incompatibility, conflict resolution, and relationship breakdowns. 

The experiences in my private practice taught me that while love is essential to our well-being, we often aren’t taught how to do it properly.  Often, we end up hurt, disappointed, or committed to the wrong person.  As a result, many of us are losing our faith in romantic partnerships. 

Luckily, the field of relationship science can help us, and that’s what this blog is based on.  I want you to understand that you deserve a healthy commitment.  I want to normalize being single while you’re still looking for love. I want you to understand how to build trust, work through conflict, and understand your attachment style.

Using relationship science and my experience as a therapist, I’m here to answer your dating, love, and relationship questions.  I’m here to help you make educated dating decisions to increase your chances of ending up in a healthy romantic relationship.
